Branching Out at The Granary
Located a short drive south of Launceston just before Cressy, sits The Granary | Richmond Hill. Originating as a Homestead from the 1800s, now renovated as Luxury Accommodation. The perfect locale for us to host ourselves a little Summer Fun gathering to showcase our latest selection of Summer garments. Playing with the new bright tones of Polo Ralph Lauren, playful patterns by Haupt, enduring styles from Paul & Shark and a variety of our expertly tailored garments by our Routleys favourite Eduard Dressler, and more...
“Fun was a key driving force behind our Summer buy. We’ve been tucked away without parties for so long, but now that we can start enjoying the freedom that summer brings, we can put on our red trousers, paisley shirts, and express our joy!” - Ben Fontyn, Routleys Co-Buyer.
With parties, weddings, social gathering back on our calendars, we kicked off our sweats and embraced Summer Fun! Bright summer patterns like paisley, stripes, and striking pastels came out to put the Fun back in our lives after hibernation. Balancing these back with soft tones of greens, navy blues, and light creams, allows these fresh colours to take centre stage and be the Sartorial Heroes we need right now!
Here’s some inspiration as to how to wear our new season garments, to get you from the couch and into G’n’T.
Relaxed Revelations is our approach to taking your everyday casual garments, and adding some summer flair. We want to evoke a seamless sense of attainable comfort and style. Your weekend and after hours wear should be simplistic, mixed with statement pieces for flair. This summer you’ll see us sporting brighter colours like mustard Meyer trousers with a tropical printed Polo by Polo Ralph Lauren, and while it’s still crisp throw on a nice Paul and Shark Windcheater or a Rich Friday shirt over a crisp cotton tee. Wear a Haupt floral shirt or a Gant Sunfaded Rugger to transition into your after hours rendezvous.
We’ve all been hankering for a little boogie this year, so here’s some tips on becoming the Cocktail Courtier of summer 2020. Be bold, be striking, take a chance. If this year has taught us anything is that we should try something new; Like a pair of bright red Bugatti chinos with floral shirting from A Fish Named Fred and a cream jacket. Alternatively, elevate the everyday by pairing the classic brown chino and navy sport coat, and injecting some pattern with a striking green stripe shirt.
Whether it is you or a friend, tap into our wellspring of Wedding Ideas to make sure you are the best-dressed guest or the most Debonair Betrothed. It’s all about tonal contrast this wedding season; Pair your sport coats with a contrasting trouser or chino. Take Ben in his Green Eduard Dressler Blazer with Meyer Grey trousers. It’s an effortless take on Cocktail Wedding attire. While Pat in his Boston Beige Check jacket and Cream Chinos is the epitome of new wave classic tailored Grooms attire. Be classy, be bold, and most of all Have Fun! Our New Season summer wear will have you squared up for any event!
